Hosts China swept past Indonesia 6-0 to advance to the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup semifinals and remain on course to qualify for the World Cup in Hohhot.
The hosts were the only team to win all their group stage matches, and they maintained form in the quarterfinal round.
In the 13th minute, substitute Zhan Zewen fired in a powerful shot to give the PRC a 1-0 lead.
Two minutes into the second half, Zou Yinglan's long range effort was denied but Fan Yuqiu's follow-up made it 2-0.
Three minutes later, Zhang Rui made it 3-0, before goals from Jiang Xiaoyu, Yu Ting and Xiong Jing in the last 10 minutes made it 6-0. China will meet Thailand in the semifinals, with the two finalists and third-place playoff winner reaching the first ever World Cup in the Philippines this November.
"How many chances do we get in our life... and I am not as youthful as the others anymore... so I think this competition is really important. We are aiming for the World Cup and I think as long as we perform well, there won't be a problem," said Chinese midfielder Fan Yuqiu.
