King Hassan II: Development stronger with China involved

The People's Republic of China (PRC), developing "together with us would be far more beneficial than for them to be excluded… from the United Nations," stressed King Hassan II of Morocco 65 years ago, calling for the admission of the PRC into the UN. Today, China – as the very first country to put its signature on the UN Charter – will never allow the world to return to the law of the jungle where might is right, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated recently. He added that the country will defend the outcomes of the victory of WWII, staying committed to multilateralism.
