China have arrived for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha, and begun preparations with the aim of sweeping all five titles on offer when the event starts on Saturday.
Wang Chuqin, Lin Shidong, Sun Yingsha and Wang Manyu will lead the roster. The PRC clinched all five titles last time in Busan, and are favourites to repeat that feat.
The team trained in Chengdu before they left for Doha on Monday. With the men's and women's doubles included for the next Olympics, men's coach Wang Hao said the team selection was based on technical abilities with one eye on Olympic preparation.
