A firefighting and rescue team in Shanxi Province conducted a live cliff rescue drill in the Taihang Mountains. On a steep rock face, they simulated rescuing a person who had fallen from a cliff. The team set up an angled rescue system and practiced vertical hoisting, T-shaped rope bridges and stretcher transfers. The rugged cliffs of the Taihang Mountains have seen a rise in hiking accidents in recent years, with many outdoor enthusiasts injured in falls.
