The No. 5 unit of the Fuqing nuclear power plant in east China's Fujian Province, the world's first to use Hualong-1 technology, has marked its 1,000th day of safe operation. In that time, the reactor has generated 37 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, marking a major milestone for this domestically developed third-generation reactor and confirming its sustainable performance.
