A fire at a chemical warehouse has triggered a lockdown in southern Spain. More than 80,000 locals were forced to stay indoors following the blaze at the chemical storage facility in the La Red industrial park in Alcala de Guadaira, some 16 kilometers southeast of Seville. Emergency services reportedly received hundreds of calls, starting at 1:20 p.m. on May 14, regarding the fire at the site, which local chemical distributor Plainsur operates.
