More than 50 African ambassadors to China visited central China's Hunan Province from May 12 to 15. During their trip, they toured an experimental rice field at Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center, where they tried their hand at transplanting rice and observed how machines perform the task more efficiently. They also sampled newly developed rice varieties at the center. In addition, they visited Hunan Gaoqiao Grand Market, a major commercial hub in the region.
