Shanghai Shenhua beat Dalian Yingbo 3-0 on the road in Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province, on Saturday, continuing to lead the Chinese Super League (CSL) with 32 points from 10 wins, two draws, and one loss.

The visitors scored their first goal in the 34th minute, after Chen Jinyi launched a low cross from the left flank into the box. The ball was deflected by Liao Jintao, but landed in front of Joao Teixeira, who sliced it into the bottom corner.

Four minutes later, Dalian goalkeeper Sui Weijie rushed out of the box and tried to clear a long pass by Shanghai's Wu Xi. Saulo Mineiro beat Sui to the ball, however, and headed it toward the net where Liu Chengyu easily tidied up for Shenhua's second goal.

Seven minutes into the second half, Wu's pass set up a one-on-one chance for Mineiro, whose shot sailed past Sui, extending the visiting side's advantage to 3-0.

Shenhua's competitors near the top of the table all failed to win later in the day, leaving the club from Shanghai with a two-point lead over second-placed Chengdu Rongcheng after 13 matches.
