Analyst: Shipping rates surge after U.S., China roll back tariff hikes

Freight rates from China to the U.S. have increased due to a surge in demand after the two countries rolled back some of their tariffs this month. CGTN spoke to Peter Sand, chief analyst of Xeneta, a leading ocean and air freight market analytics firm, on the current market situation. Sand says shipping rates have surged after the U.S. and China rolled back tariff hikes.
