Raising tariffs depresses economic growth across sectors but impacts the renewable energy sector to a lesser degree, said Francesco La Camera, director-general of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), in an interview with CGTN. He added that the speed of the energy transition may be affected but the transition itself is inevitable.
