Li Bingjie added her third gold medal for Hebei after winning the women's 200-meter freestyle final in 1:55.52 at the National Swimming Championships in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province, on Tuesday.
Li built a safe lead from the beginning and kept it until the end of the competition while setting her personal best in the event.
In the men's 800-meter freestyle final, Fei Liwei tried to challenge Zhang Zhanshuo, but found himself two seconds behind after 500 meters. In the end, Zhang topped the podium in 7:49.71. Fei came in second.
Xu Fang and Chen Juner had a close battle in the men's 200-meter butterfly event. Chen dashed to lead in the first 100 meters, but Xu managed to surpass him in the final 50 meters before clinching the title in 1:55.22.
Qin Haiyang was nothing but dominant in the men's 50m breaststroke final and clocked 26.71 seconds to pocket the gold.
Later on the day, Xu Jiayu, Ye Shiwen, Yu Yiting and Pan Zhanle won the mixed 4x100m medley relay final in 3:44.95, adding another gold for Zhejiang.
