Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting foreign minister of the Afghan interim government, in Beijing on May 21. Noting that this year marks the 70th anniversary of bilateral ties, Wang said China is willing to work with Afghanistan to expand cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture and minerals, bringing benefits to the two peoples, and maintaining regional peace.
