Técnica del Decoletaje is a machine tools production company in Madrid, Spain, with a 66-year history. The U.S. is an important overseas sales market for the company. Its managing director, Mario Lobato, told CGTN that their machine parts are put into cars and exported to the U.S. As the U.S. tariffs on the EU increase, the entire automotive industry chain has been impacted, and about 35 percent of the company's products have been affected. Rafael Rosa, a worker at the company, believes that tariffs have not brought anything positive. Production materials have become more expensive, and both multinationals and small- and medium-scale businesses have been deeply affected.
