China is beating the United States in the race to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into its economy, according to Winston Ma, an adjunct professor at NYU School of Law. Ma highlighted China's centralized infrastructure, built on decades of investment in digital systems like cloud computing and data centers, as a major advantage. The U.S., reliant on private cloud systems, struggles to keep pace, Ma noted. Ma's remarks highlight growing concerns about America's competitiveness in the global AI landscape.
