On May 22, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu held a phone conversation with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, during which they exchanged views on China-US relations and important issues of mutual interest. On the same day, the Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit 2025 was held in Beijing. Representing the voice of 800 American companies operating in China, Michael Hart, president of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, said that US businesses hope to continue deepening their presence in the Chinese market, participate in innovation and expand cooperation.
