Olympic champions Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha defeated South Korea's Lim Jong-hoon and Shin Yu-bin in straight sets to advance into the mixed doubles final at the World Table Tennis Championships on Friday.
The second seeds dominated the game throughout and won 12-10, 11-6, 16-14 over 34 minutes.
Wang and Sun, seeking their third straight mixed doubles crown, will take on 16th-seeded Japanese pair Maharu Yoshimura and Satsuki Odo, who reached the final with a 3-1 (11-8, 11-1, 4-11, 11-2) victory over third seeds Wong Chun Ting and Doo Hoi Kem.
"It will be a great moment for us when we compete with the top players in the world," said Yoshimura.
