2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia. At the invitation of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Chinese Premier Li Qiang is on an official visit to Indonesia from May 24 to 26.

The 13th International Cultural Festival at Tsinghua University officially kicked off on May 24 with a special event – the Indonesian Embassy Open Day on campus. The event featured Parulian George Andreas Silalahi, deputy director of the Indonesian Embassy in China, who delivered a keynote speech, reviewing the cooperation between China and Indonesia over the past 75 years across politics, economy, trade, and cultural exchanges. His remarks resonated with students from around the world.

Celia Annetta, an Indonesian student at Tsinghua University, shared her experience at the event and reflected on recent achievements in China-Indonesia cooperation. Annetta highlighted China's role as Indonesia's largest trading partner and pointed to successful partnerships in areas such as railways construction, palm oil and mineral trade, and new energy vehicles.

She noted that in recent years, a growing number of Indonesian students have come to China to study. As an Indonesian student in China, she sincerely hopes that the two countries will continue to work together to build a brighter future.
