Recently, Richard D. Wolff, an American Marxist economist, pointed out that China has meticulously cultivated economic, political and diplomatic partnerships over the past decade, establishing an extensive network of international cooperation. He further noted that the powerful international community China is part of covers more than half of the world's population, capable of providing production capacity support to partners and undertaking the production of goods no longer purchased by the U.S. market. In contrast, as the U.S. grapples with economic costs, its declining hegemonic system is accelerating the disintegration of partnerships by attacking allies, he added.
