Located in the western Pacific Ocean, Palau is a gateway from the Pacific into Southeast Asia. This island nation consists of more than 300 volcanic and coral islands, with only nine permanently inhabited. Its capital is Melekeok.

Bathed in sunshine and surrounded by clear waters and pristine white beaches, Palau offers a paradise-like landscape. Renowned for its stunning marine biodiversity, it has been recognized by oceanographers as the foremost of the "Seven Underwater Wonders of the World." Above the surface, the scenery is equally spectacular, where sky meets sea in an endless, breathtaking vista.

One of Palau's most iconic attractions is Jellyfish Lake, home to a unique species of harmless jellyfish found nowhere else on Earth. Visitors can swim among them, enjoying a surreal and unforgettable underwater experience.
