China released new guidelines on Tuesday to improve its modern enterprise management system, with a key focus on strengthening collaborative innovation. Innovation in China has entered a new era characterized by large-scale collaboration among large, medium, and small enterprises, said Guo Chunli, vice president of the Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research at the NDRC. The guidelines mandate that large enterprises to open their innovation resources to SMEs, provide technical guidance, support technology transfer, and encourage joint innovation among firms of all sizes to foster a collaborative and efficient ecosystem, she added.
