Leo Gerdén, an international student from Sweden at Harvard University, recently spoke out against mounting policy threats targeting foreign students. He criticized the Trump administration for "making new threats every day," but affirmed that Harvard is standing firm and fighting back through all available means. Gerdén stressed the vital role of international students in shaping Harvard's identity, stating, "Without them, Harvard would no longer be Harvard." Currently, many international students who returned to their home countries for the summer remain in limbo, gripped by uncertainty and fear that they may never return to a place they "no longer dare call home."
