A political makeover of U.S. education

Recently, the Trump administration has made Harvard University a primary target, with a series of controversial measures aimed at the Ivy League-led U.S. higher education system. In March, the Trump administration claimed to "use every legal means to shut down the Department of Education." In recent years, political polarization has driven increasingly distinct partisan divides in U.S. education policy. Rather than political interference, the Trump administration's continuous attacks against academia should be viewed as part of the political battles between Republicans and Democrats.
