37-year-old Martin Michek, one of the Czech Republic's top riders, has won four European crowns. He joined CGTN Sports Scene's Shen Xiang in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for an exclusive interview and described the Taklimakan Rally as one of the best.

Michek revealed that he is impressed not only by the scenery in Xinjiang, but also by the splendid tracks at the Taklimakan Rally. Outside the race, the 37-year-old has been enjoying the local culture and meeting with locals.
