Over 60 teams from China and other countries are competing in the inaugural "Labor in Glory" International Robot Skills Competition in Shanghai.
The event features 28 real-world challenges across five categories: humanoid robots, embodied intelligence, core tech innovation, robot soccer and creative applications. Tasks include labeling cars, folding clothes, retrieving items from the fridge, and participating in disaster simulations.
Aimed at boosting global robotics collaboration, the competition highlights Shanghai's push to become a leader in intelligent automation. Participants will also showcase their innovations at July's World AI Conference (WAIC 2025).
