The exhibition features characters, sets and props from the ending animation "Deaf Ear," which appears in the second chapter, Yellow Sand, Desolate Dusk, of the game. This stop-motion animation was produced by Realwood Stop-motion Animation Studio and tells the story of a traveling scholar who rescues an injured fox along the way. The animation's characters, costumes, sets and many physical effects – such as particles, water and smoke – were crafted entirely by hand.

Stop-motion is a unique art form that brings sculpture to life, combining tangible craftsmanship with motion to create a distinct visual language. Its frame-by-frame production process allows for precise control over movement and pacing, resulting in a narrative rhythm and aesthetic that are both intimate and evocative.

The exhibition is open at the Art Museum of the China Academy of Art until July 25.
