On May 29, the Long March 3B Y110 rocket successfully launched and placed the Tianwen-2 probe into its designated orbit. It marks China's first step in the country's very first asteroid sample-return mission, and the first time that this series of carrier rocket has carried out an Earth escape orbit launch mission.
