China and Japan held a new round of technical talks on Japanese aquatic products in Beijing on May 28 at Japan's request, China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) said in a statement on Friday, adding that "substantial" progress had been achieved.
The GAC noted that multiple rounds of such talks have taken place this year.
