China's Yuanxingzhe-1 test rocket completed its first sea recovery trial on May 29 at the Dongfang Spaceport in Haiyang City, east China's Shandong Province.
Nicknamed "chubby" by some social media users because of its unusually round and thick frame, the 57-tonne rocket landed safely after a 125-second flight, reaching 2.5 kilometers in altitude.
