With the Dragon Boat Festival underway, a gourd culture park in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, is bustling with shoppers. Traditional gourd handicrafts infused with festive blessings are on full display and in high demand. In Chinese, the word for gourd, hulu, sounds like fulu, which means "blessings and prosperity." Park officials say that over the past week, daily sales of gourd-related crafts have exceeded 10,000 pieces.
