Sun Sibei of China won the women's park gold medal at the BMX Freestyle World Cup in Montpellier, France, after scoring 93.10 points in the final on Saturday.
The 20-year-old Chinese rider showed superb form, outlasting Japan's Miharu Ozawa and the USA's Hannah Roberts to clinch the title. Sun was the only finalist to surpass 90 points, as she claimed her first career victory against six-time world champion Roberts.
Sun's compatriot and reigning Olympic champion Deng Yawen settled for fourth place.
