China and Uzbekistan are allowing visa-free travel for ordinary passport holders for up to 30 days per visit, starting June 1, 2025. The move is expected to boost tourism and reflects growing bilateral ties, with Silk Road cities like Bukhara attracting more Chinese visitors amid expanding cultural and economic cooperation.
