CGTN

Animation enthusiasts and industry professionals from around the world have gathered in Hangzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, for the 21st China International Cartoon and Animation Festival (CICAF), taking place from May 29 to June 2.

Adjacent to the festival's main venue at the Baima Lake International Exhibition Center, the China Cartoon and Animation Museum offers visitors an engaging look into the history and development of Chinese animation. As the first national museum dedicated to this art form, it showcases an impressive collection of over 20,000 items, including original manuscripts, animation models and historical artifacts.

The museum's design, inspired by the shape of an auspicious cloud, features four exhibition halls. These halls are thoughtfully arranged to function as a drama stage, cinema, library and audio studio, creating an immersive experience that guides visitors through China's animation journey.
