In Tajikistan's capital of Dushanbe, electric taxis – many of them from China – are everywhere. The city's mayor has mandated all taxis must go electric by September. Chinese EVs like BYD, JAG and CHERY are popular here – affordable, durable and packed with features.

"BYD is even better than Mercedes," one local said. Chinese car brands now make up nearly half of Dushanbe's EV market, according to local distributor Koinot Auto. Looks like Dushanbe is driving toward a greener future, with China's EVs leading the charge.
