Inflation in the eurozone eased to 1.9 percent in May, its lowest level since September 2024, calmed by a slowdown in services sector prices, official data showed Tuesday.
Consumer price increases in the single currency area slowed more than predicted by analysts for FactSet, down from 2.2 percent in April, passing back below the European Central Bank's two-percent target, the EU's official statistics agency said.
