The early summer heat has awakened the most vibrant hues of Yuncheng Salt Lake in Shanxi Province. From over 1,000 meters above, the lake resembles a dazzling array of metallic eyeshadow palettes – a mosaic of colors that blend seamlessly yet remain strikingly defined. With a history spanning over 4,000 years, Yuncheng Salt Lake is known as the "Dead Sea of China." It's also one of the world's three major inland sulfate lakes.
