Nineteen-year-old Imam lives in East Java, Indonesia, under the shadow of plastic pollution, with his livestock often ingesting plastic on the beach. Concerned about the effects on his own health, especially asthma caused by inhaling fumes from burning waste, Imam faces a growing crisis. At the local hospital, Doctor Ferdaus notes an increase in pollution-related health issues, such as diarrhea and gastrointestinal problems. They are working to study the long-term effects and warn the community of potential health risks.
