CGTN interviews Morgan Stanley's chief China economist on U.S. economy

05:10

CGTN's Hou Na interviewed Robin Xing, chief China economist at Morgan Stanley. Xing said a potential expansion of the U.S. fiscal deficit could add a staggering $15 trillion to the national debt. He noted that Morgan Stanley expects the Fed to hold interest rates steady, but forecasts rate cuts starting in March 2026, as the Trump administration's tariffs begin to affect the U.S. economy.
