The tournament has contributed to a 14.63 percent year-on-year increase in out-of-town tourism spending across six host cities in the latest round, namely in Xuzhou, Yancheng, Changzhou, Nanjing, Nantong and Lianyungang.
The local governments of these cities have reacted quickly to this momentum by offering discounts for attractions, dining and accommodation to promote tourism.
Changzhou alone welcomed 60,000 visitors from neighboring Yangzhou, highlighting inter-city travel demand driven by the league.
Rising attendance has prompted venue upgrades in Nanjing, Suzhou, Nantong and Changzhou, with new stadiums offering enhanced capacities and facilities.
