Protests against federal immigration raids in downtown Los Angeles showed no signs of slowing on June 8, with clashes between law enforcement and demonstrators continuing late into the night. A frustrated protester told CGTN correspondent Ediz Tiyansan that the presence of National Guard troops – with Marines reportedly on standby – was creating "a big fear in the communities."
