California Governor Gavin Newsom has sharply criticized the operations, emphasizing that 27 percent of Los Angeles' population are immigrants, with many families having worked hard in the U.S. for over a decade. He further noted that the vast majority of immigrants are law-abiding citizens who are contributors, not violent criminals, and should not be the target of aggressive policies. He stressed that the "one-size-fits-all" immigration policy not only threatens people's livelihoods and damages the nation's reputation but also risks becoming a prelude to intensified social conflict across the country.
