As another China-Europe freight train departs on Wednesday from the Shijiazhuang International Land Port in Hebei Province, north China, officials announced a new milestone in the port's cargo handling operations. They say it has now successfully handled over 150,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of cargo. This train will pass through Erenhot before arriving in Moscow, Russia. Since the launch of its first China-Europe freight train in June, 2018, the Shijiazhuang logistics center has been handling cargo on seven weekly trains across 18 routes serving 50 countries.
