Recent large-scale raids conducted by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Los Angeles have sparked intense clashes between the law enforcement and protesters. Pablo Alvarado, co-executive director of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) and a Los Angeles resident, stated that violence is never the right path and demands can be fully conveyed without harming anyone. He emphasized that the root of the chaos lies in the violence inflicted by ICE agents on immigrant communities, firmly opposing such actions and condemning ICE's violent tactics. Furthermore, he stressed that immigrants are an indispensable part of society and called for peaceful measures to protect vulnerable communities.
