We Talk: Kazakh youth highlights cultural exchange with China

The second China-Central Asia Summit is set to take place in June 2025. Milla, a student from Kazakhstan currently studying at Tsinghua University, shared her perspective on cultural exchange and how today's youth are engaging with China and its culture. She believes that young people can build meaningful connections through music and cultural interaction.

"Many people connect with Chinese music even if they don't understand the language, and social media platforms have become the biggest bridges between cultures," Milla said. She emphasized that culture is one of the most powerful forms of cooperation, fostering deeper understanding between the peoples of China and Kazakhstan.
