The China–Central Asia Summit is the highest-level cooperation platform under the China–Central Asia cooperation mechanism and is held biennially.

The first China–Central Asia Summit was held in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on May 18 and 19, 2023. The second summit will be held in Kazakhstan later in June.

Among the five Central Asian countries, Kazakhstan has the largest land area, while Uzbekistan has the largest population.
