Discovered in a Han Dynasty (202 BC-AD 220) tomb in Wuwei, a key trading hub along the ancient Silk Road in northwestern China, the Bronze Galloping Horse is one of the country's most iconic cultural treasures. Since 2002, it has been permanently banned from leaving China. 

With three hooves in midair and one stepping on a flying bird, this whinnying steed captures motion, grace, and power in bronze. Whether the bird beneath its hoof is a swallow, a falcon, or even a mythical creature has long been debated – but there's no denying the horse's striking energy and timeless charm.
