Graphics: China-Central Asia ties deepen as Kazakhstan leads trade

In 2024, Kazakhstan emerged as China's top trading partner in Central Asia, accounting for 46 percent of regional trade, with a total volume of $43.8 billion.

The first China-Central Asia Summit was held in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, from May 18 to 19, 2023. The second summit will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from June 16 to 18, 2025.
