The international version of "The Classic Quotes by Xi Jinping," a multilingual TV program produced by China Media Group (CMG), aired at the Presidential Center of Kazakhstan on Monday ahead of the second China-Central Asia Summit.
The program will air nationally across all five Central Asian countries' state television networks and major media platforms starting Monday.
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter congratulating the broadcast of the program.
Featuring quotes from ancient Chinese classics used by Xi in his speeches and articles, the TV program focuses on themes such as opening up and cooperation, technological development, ecological and environmental protection and cultural innovation.
Through an international perspective and vivid storytelling, it offers Central Asian audiences insights into the profound historical and cultural foundations of Xi's governance philosophy while showcasing the diverse dimensions of Chinese modernization.
Erlan Karin, state counselor of Kazakhstan, and other cultural and media professionals from other Central Asian countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, stated that the program will build a new bridge for the Central Asian people to better understand the development of China in the new era, perceive the unique charm of Chinese culture and provide a lasting spiritual strength for building a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
The official newspapers of the Kazakh government and the most influential ones, "Kazakhstan Pravda" (Russian version) and "Sovereign Kazakhstan," both published the news on the front page.
The news was also broadcast by mainstream media outlets in Asia and Europe, including Tajikistan's state news agency Hovar and Turkmenistan's News.Net.
