The death toll has risen to over 250 as the deadly conflict between Iran and Israel enters its fourth day. Much of the Middle East is now ravaged by hostilities, with fighting continuing in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iran. Wang Jin, director of the Center for Strategic Studies at Northwest University in Xi'an, warns that a wider escalation could erupt if the crisis is not properly managed.
