This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the recovery of Taiwan -- a shared national memory for people on both sides of the Straits. But in Taiwan, the history is deliberately ignored by the authorities. Some Taiwan compatriots criticize this.
