Nanjing Yunjin, known as China's "cloud brocade," dazzled emperors with its gold-wrapped silk threads. Woven on 5.6-meter-long looms requiring two artisans – one to weave and one to program patterns – it remains the pinnacle of luxury, inscribed by UNESCO in 2009.
